Facility Decommissioning & Reclamation
Regulators are placing a high priority on Oil & Gas Producers cleaning up and removing their old assets from former process and production sites. DFA's Asset Retirement Group works with Producers to streamline the many moving parts and requirements associated with taking down these old assets. Our one-stop-shop method makes these projects go smoothly from start to finish. From single well sites to large processing facilities, DFA Contracting has the equipment, and experienced manpower to compete the task.
Pipeline Abandonments & Discontinuations
DFA also has a commitment to stay ahead of the curve with current technologies as they relate to abandonment work and as such we have invested a large amount of capital and resources into ensuring our Abandonment Team has the best equipment currently available to conduct their project scopes. A few examples of this would be our Internal Pipeline Riser Cutting Tools (2/3/4/6”) that allow for mechanical cold cutting and capping of pipelines in place with no ground disturbance required, our Internal Pile Cutting Tools which provides the same pros as the Riser Cutting Tools, and our fleet of excavators that we have acquired numerous specialized attachments to increase overall project efficiencies allowing us to do “more with less” some of these attachments include: concrete breakers, drive heads (for pile extraction), metal shears, and magnets.
